PG Thread Cable Gland Size Chart

The brass cable glands can be made with 4 kinds of threads, M (metric) thread, PG thread, NPT thread, and G(PF) thread.

What is PG thread cable gland?

PG thread is a kind of German standard thread, usually used for connecting pipes and equipments. The dimensional specification of PG threads is based on the German standard DIN 40430. It includes parameters such as thread diameter, pitch and tolerance, etc. The diameter of PG threads ranges from 16mm to 110mm, while the pitch varies according to the diameter. In terms of tolerances, PG threads are fitted with internal and external threads to ensure tightness and reliability of the threaded connection.
